Aug 31, 2019 – Jeremy, Sarah, Duncan B, Barry, Chris F, and D Duncan staffed a “Spark Studio Salem / 3D Printing Demo” booth 2p-6p in the STEAM section of Columbia Hall, Oregon State Fair!
Demos were set up with 3D printers (including Barry’s Astrodroid dome) and the Cricut CNC vinyl cutter (free stickers cut-on-demand). Duncan and Barry chatted with parents and other attending adults about makerspaces (including the new ‘Spark Studio Salem / What is a Makerspace’ tri-folds).
On the order of 150 free vinyl stickers were made for fascinated attendees, and 60 “Spark Studio Salem” tri-folds were handed out!
