September – October 2026
It’s a relaxed, open time for anyone to drop in and get hands-on with their ideas or just see what others are working on.
Free to the public.
Here’s what you can do:
- Bring a project and make some progress
- Get familiar with the tools and equipment in the space
- Share ideas, ask questions, or swap advice
- Spend time with others who enjoy making things
We keep things informal, so you can come and go as it works for you.
Whether you’re looking to work on something specific or just want to see what we’re all about, you’re welcome to join us.
MaVeRiCC is a friendly gathering of vintage computer enthusiasts: A great place for restorers, gamers, makers, and nostalgic nerds to show off their vintage computer gear, fix misbehaving computers, play some games, marvel at the latest tech demos and modern accessories, and reminisce about the old days of computing!
Curious about Spark Studio Salem?
Drop by Saturday afternoons where you can see the space, meet our community, and get some hands-on time with creative projects.
Whether you’re looking to brainstorm ideas, solve a tricky problem, or get inspired by what others are working on, we’re here to help.
Wandering Wednesday Maker Social (4th Wednesday each month)
On the fourth Wednesday of every month, we meet at various locations (decided at the prior month social). It’s a free public casual meet up to chat about all things making, share projects, and enjoy some time with fellow creatives.
On the last Saturday of each Month, Spark Studio Salem hosts a booth at Salem’s legendary Saturday Outdoor Farmer’s Market where we demonstrate technology, answer questions, and let the Salem community know about the great resource a Makerspace can be for makers of all stripes.
Come down, say hi, and see what a Makerspace is all about.
